I don't think that's even a gravy packet.

You three have already said it better than me, so I will simply agree.

So, Todd, let me see if I understand this. You didn't bother to tell us any of this while the show was on the air. Now you've told us what made it so uniquely bizarre and compelling, but also told us that now that we know all all of this, it wouldn't be any fun to watch the show, because we missed out on the thrill of

It seems to me more of an attempt to prove to the comic book/sci-fi/genre fanboys that she is one of them than an actual effort at getting the movie made. I'm guessing that she feels she'll always be somewhat bankable if she can retain a core fan base of 13-30 year-old virgins. Note: this is my supposition of what she

Yes, JaNtLT; Jesus Christ, indeed. Twee has become quite ubiquitous in the comments section, as well.

I concur, Mr. Trotsfield. His prose stands out all the more for his ability to make it through a single review without employing the words "subversive" or "meta," which, sadly, can scarcely be said of certain other AVC critics we know.

Actually, according to imdb, Stillman has a new work in pre-production.

I've never agreed with a thread so much.

If it makes anyone feel any better, Toy Story 3 still has a 100% Top Critics rating on RT.

If we could get back on track for just a moment, I agree with AutoJack. This sounds a bit like Walt's fugue state to me.

Licky, I think she misunderstood Howe. If you listen to the audio, it's not clear at all that he was calling her a racist. Audio and transcript can be found here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/…

I dare say that Lego Indiana Jones is the best of its kind.

I, too, am beginning to appreciate Tarkovsky. I wouldn't go so far as to call his ramblings insane, actually. They seem quite cogent to me.

I've only seen a couple of episodes of her show and have gladly avoided it since, but it makes me feel a little better to know that it won't be on anymore.

I had the strangest dream last night that a girl I know told me Rivers Cuomo had been arrested for some sort of domestic violence, which is made more strange by the fact that I haven't listened to Weezer, or even thought of them, in a long time.

I can only hope that Godzilla will look like his old self, and not like a Jurassic Park escapee. Also, a Mechagodzilla appearance would be quite nice ("space titanium alloy" always comes to mind). I suppose it would be too much to ask that the movie be in 2D.

…but *more the poor…

To be fair, The Hand is a classic compared to Greenwald's trashbin documentaries. And this has nothing to do with his politics (with which I agree more than disagree), but the more the poor production standards and editing.

Greenwald isn't much better at documentaries.
Also, is it premature to add Gene Hackman and "Welcome to Mooseport" to the list of unfortunate final appearances? Regrettably, it seems that Mr. Hackman is content to be a novelist and has no plans to return to his day job.
