I just finished episode 3 and now all of a sudden season 1 of True Detective no longer seems as far-fetched to me as it once did.

Sadder than normal?
I did appreciate his cover of "Slip Away", if only because SOMEONE needed to cover that sweet nugget back in the 80's.
It's a race war!
ACDC's "That's the Way I Wanna Rock n Roll" was my go-to wake-my-ass up music from that era.
Paul Rodgers recorded a Muddy Waters tribute album a while back and Gilmour contributes guitar to "Standing Around Crying" and it's blow-your-mind good.
Sweet Bougainvillea…
"Dead Sound" is my go-to tune from them. It sounds like 4 separate 60's-era musical genres playing simultaneously.
"I'm Gonna Crawl" is my favorite Zep Blues solo by Page. My favorite "whoa!" moment is during the coda of the Stones' "Can't You Hear Me Knocking'' when Mick Taylor's solo starts cutting through that samba beat and you can hear Jagger yell "Yeah!" way in the background.

Like this show wasn't already gross enough with the used tampon scenes earlier.
The Fargo TV show suggests they're all part of a shared universe, what with Waffle Huts (From Ladykillers) and the Knutzens (from Big Lebowski) popping up here & there.
I used to have the Disney version on record when I was a kid. Sterling Holloway (the voice of Winnie the Pooh) was the narrator. I think the Sorcerer's Apprentice was on side two. I listened to that LP constantly as a child, along with their "Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House" Sound FX record.
There's three stories going on this season; none have been particular interesting. The Peter & the Wolf stuff and the animated bits really just seem like distractions from stuff we've seen time and again.
More like Saturday Night DEAD!
I was thinking Scientology defector Mike Rinder / Howard Jones
Seriously. Jack's been tortured for 50 years straight, let the guy have some happiness.
Wait, REM licensed a cover of a song they didn't write?
She was amazing (& the best thing) in last year's Brain Dead show.
Yeah but I wanted to see if Dianna was going to wear her Jedi robe again tomorrow.
