"Smelling vaguely," sure. But "reek" implies a powerful odor.

Are you kidding me? Do you realize that that money could buy 562,000,000 four-piece spicy chicken nuggets at Wendy's?

Hey-hey! I get it!

Foo Fighters ripped off "Stairway" at least a thousand times more than "Stairway" ripped this off, and (to the extent of my knowledge) no one tried to bring a suit over that.

Can something really "reek" vaguely?

My MeowMeowBeenz!

I honestly don't see much of a distinction, there. Ishmael is pretty much the nineteenth century equivalent of a "spiritual, but not religious" type.

That's what it is, but that obviously cannot function in the abstract. By the same logic, "I would like that person to have sex with me" would lead to "I will have sex with that person" in a self-contained proposition. And rape is not a sound ethical decision.

I'm mostly sure you're being sarcastic, but that's obviously not how the "golden rule" works. Or, at any rate, not in the context of Jesus' preaching or subsequent Christian ethics.

Ruth should count, unless discussing the fallout of being widowed in the context of the ancient Near East is still "about men":

Well, fair enough.

You realize that's supposed to be sophistical, right?

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, of itself.

Hell yeah. Problem is, no one I know has ever seen it.

They play out of a base 4-3, which is (in theory) what Sam would fit into best, at least without being reworked as a linebacker. However, they also have at least two, and possibly four, superior defensive ends already on the roster, and arguably the best performer from last year (i.e., Robert Quinn- and he's only 23).

He's also probably not quite built for the pro game. I'm certainly in favor of pro athletes being comfortable with being out, but I'm afraid that he'll be cut and, on the one hand, plenty of people will assume it's purely because he's gay and, on the other, plenty of people will take it as proof that a gay player

I don't like to be overly cynical, but it does seem like a shrewd move on his part, financially speaking. He's unlikely to make the team (seventh rounders often get cut, even if they DON'T have tons of competition, which he does), but the show keeps him in the public eye and probably gets him a decent chunk of change.

I support Germany. Italia '90, Euro '96.

Oh come on, you know that's what all you Britons say, but you're actually desperate for victory. Don't tell me it doesn't gall fair Albion that the Jerries have won it three times.
