Also, no sight of him in the trailer but, I'm excited to see what Walton Goggins does here.

Agreed. Last year before Pacific Rim happened, I was totally stoked to see Stringer Bell take on this shit.

Yeah, I'll admit it's kinda like accusing someone of socialism in politics. Supporting state-run assistance programs isn't socialism, and using parody liberally isn't the same as making Meet the Spartans. I'm clearly conflicted in my feelings about Community, but I definitely don't hate the damn thing.

I can own up to a little passive aggressive trolling (what better occasion than a discussion on hating), and while part of me wants to go knee-jerk internet-rude "fuckin' this or fuckin' that" you-insufferable-fanboy-twit, I'll try to remain civil and simply ask what I "obviously don't get." Please. Articulate.…

At the risk of everyone collectively gasping and dropping their monocles, I really don't like Community. I think most of the characters exist solely as shallow, cutesy caricatures of quirks, and they regularly gloss over this with their "event" episodes that "parody" tropes and style without actually providing any…

Not at all the same thing at all, but he DID write the season opener and finale of this season of Treme. (And although I think the episode where it happened was actually a Pelecanos-scripted episode, there's a pretty good dig at Paula Deen in there somewhere).

Where do I go to complain about brunch and eating seafood on Mondays?

He did a random roles or an interview a few years back, and talks about doing Groundhog Day and having know idea what he was doing or something like that, if I recall. He's really not in Mud all that much, unfortunately, but what he does he does well (and with that signature Michael Shannon creep vibe, of course).

*Worked on Justified. I was asked back for season three, but had already committed to a movie in Arkansas for the fall and winter. Hoping to get up with Walton Goggins this weekend at the French Quarter Fest, though. He's in town shooting Django Unchained. And… no, if only because as I said, producers explicitly…
