Uhh… Rhodesian, eh?… ULTIMATE PUNCH!!!!

Juggling dynamite thread.
I loved Southland Tales. I didn't really care for Darko, and I thought Cameron Diaz's accent murdered The Box (albeit with a lot of help from… everything else), but I can't deny fucking loving Southland Tales. And Dwayne Johnson? I'll watch that dude in a commercial for mashed potatoes.

There's a guy I work for, I like to call him my mentor. Awesome fact about this dude, his first job was as a PA on Raising Arizona. He tells the story that every insert shot of Nic Cage's legs running - of which there are many - it's actually him. I think this is really cool about my buddy-sometimes-boss.
He tells

Going into the movie last night, a buddy admitted he had only seen the first Fast and Furious when he was in high school, and hadn't looked at the franchise since, so I quickly gave him a recap of each entry ("Part one: Paul Walker's an undercover cop. He races cars. He and Vin Diesel aren't bros, but then they

Alright, nerds, somebody has to say it.
This movie is actually pretty balls-out awesome. Sure it's sets up one convention after another, but it serves them out with great pacing and complete abandon. Spoilers ahead:
The opening prison-bus breakout?!? Succinct, a clever throwback to the origin of this whole universe

Eastwood has a reputation for running the most quiet, polite, professional sets in all of filmmaking. He actually used to share this reputation with Sidney Lumet and Sidney Pollack. Spoiler for next week-

I know I posted it when we were shooting it at the beginning of March, but the title of next week's episode is "Bloody Harlan."

@Sexy Soft-focus Lemmy:

I might be crazy, but…
I read this article at work today when it first went up, and here we are, hours later, there's 450+ comments, and not a single Leonard Pierce joke? Disappointing.

Jesus is it washed-up megastar Friday at the AV Club, or what?

"if the show's producers didn't want to make much of it…"

I did a big chunk of the second season of Heroes, and tried going back to understand what the fuck was going on, but frankly, it seemed like garbage from the get-go.

Regarding locations:

Wish I could. We wrapped March 14th, and I have no idea next time I'll be up in Santa Clarita. If I go back for season 3, I promise you I'll get that picture (obviously, the monitors are really not functional in the sense that they're internet accessible, it's all piped in from a master computer run by our video

"Straight up gun blazin showdown with the Duffster."

Ah, finally! I was looking for the fuck JLD thread!

He needs to watch out for his kidneys and liver, otherwise he's going to PISSSSS BLOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!

Hear, hear!

"long rumored"?
Come on, O'Neal, I was talking about this over in the Hop comments, like, a week and a half ago. Whaddya wanna know? It was a 22 day shoot last September and October, mostly in the Simi Valley.
