Juanito-Your Rotten Tomatoes profile is most interesting. Among the movies you like are: Terminator 3, Shanghai Knights, XXX, Shallow Hal, and Face/Off. I suspect this man is a philistine and not worthy of status at AV Club.
In all seriousness though, most random movies to rate on RT, not to mention love.

OK, I will grant you that Dexter getting Arthur was a little hard to believe, but Arthur getting Rita was perfectly plausible. It was before the manhunt was issued, as Arthur was looking for Dexter. Perfectly plausible

This is the closest Dexter has ever gotten to an even match. His brother, well, accepted him, and didn't have a code. Lila was a weakass ho. Doakes was a trained killer, but he wasn't coldhearted. Miguel was powerful and intelligent and malicious, but not a particularly good killer. Trinity, on the other hand, is a

Perhaps you're an idiot. I'd rather not assume that there's another twist (completely out of left field), a la Hancock or some other inane garbage

Plugging your blog, that's just low man

Dexter's Ritual
I'd love to see Dexter's crimes get darker and more sadistic. No more neat stuff, maybe throat-slashing, sexual element, I have no idea. But that would be a great turn for the character

I agree. This almost felt forced, but I forgive any misgivings due to the direction it will take this show. If the episode has ended with Dexter boating off to the Keys, I probably would've given it a B and the season a C+/B- overall, just because I was a little disappointed that Trinity ended up, like everyone else,

I agree, it's not such a stretch to have multiple serial killers, in a big international city. It's just a tired format, unless they do something impressive as with this.

But yeah, those last couple of episodes, when Dexter really kicks into high gear, cliffhanger episodes abound, that's why you watch this. Clean endings are okay, but no more happy season three ending bullshit. It provides a remarkable contrast, I know, but still

I rewatched Season 3 last weekend. I actually say I appreciated it a lot more the second time around. It took a while to get into, but there was a stretch of really good episodes around the middle, and 10 and 11 were solid. I was a little let down by the clean wrap-up though. But yeah, the character development that

As long as Dexter's dark passenger isn't established to be an ancient evil spirit (which would ENTIRELY contravene all of the psychological examination this show has given us, including this addiction narrative Todd speaks of).

This is Why I Love AV Club
There are some pretty inane comments around these here parts, including people with ridiculously bad memories, apparently forgetting such key moments as: Paul dying (in Season TWO), Dexter's biological father being established, i.e. not Harry (in Season ONE, you tards).

I can disregard most things, but the plate numbers bothered me. Maybe Dexter was banking on killing him before the cops find him? Dunno.

But if watching his mother being killed wasn't what made him a sociopath, then how do you explain his brother the Ice Truck Killer?

Tark reminds me of the time cube guy. Keep rambling, jackass. It must be nice to get head from your father while writing nonsense on the internet

This is surprising I can't believe nobody's mentioned it, but I'm suprised no one has mentioned Doug Stanhope. He's a great stand-up who speaks his mind and his albums "Word of Mouth," "Deadbeat Hero," and "No Refunds" are all amazing. I've seen Brian Posehn, Louis C.K., and Doug Stanhope live, and I would definetely

Fuck off and die

God you're fucking stupid. Richard Dawkin's and likeminded scientist/rationalist/atheist arguments are not what you think they are, but what they are. Go read a fucking book. Just because you cannot fathom something like consciousness arising without divine magic does not render it impossible. Why don't you fucking

Just my two cents: I'm suprised no one has mentioned Doug Stanhope. He's a great stand-up who speaks his mind and his albums "Word of Mouth," "Deadbeat Hero," and "No Refunds" are all amazing. I've seen Brian Posehn, Louis C.K., and Doug Stanhope live, and I would definetely put Doug Stanhope at the top of my list,

I hope SPG was only being sarcastic. Decades are basic, man. The 2000s decade is 2000-2009, 1990s 1990-1999, 1980s 1980-1989.
