Whether or not something appears to be "promoted" on netflix is largely about whether or not their computers think you'll like it, although I'm pretty sure that the algorithm can be swayed if, say, Adam Sandler wants it so.

I'm talking about the Iranian hostage crisis.

It's a violation of norms. Every major party's presidential candidate has disclosed since '76, and every Republican presidential candidate since '68. Trump not disclosing his goes against the precedent, and to a lot of comfortable people that's way more important than actual important issues and policy.

Not… really. I mean, Reagan did the same (albeit not with Russia) and they're still naming shit after him.

Ever since… I wanna say George Romney? It's been considered standard for Republican presidential candidates to release their tax returns during the campaign. I think Carter was the first Democrat. But every candidate since from both parties has released at least one year.

Are you sure that's just not a quirk of Netflix's algorithm crunching your numbers? I got it as the main splash once (it's Chewing Gum now), and for me it's third in the row of the originals pane.

I think the really tight shooting schedule is the reason why they don't interact directly. Hopefully next season will have enough time for any cameos/etc to shoot their scenes together.

I've just had an extremely sad realization. Seventh Palace spoilers: When Akechi sacrifices his life to save the Phantom Thieves from Masayoshi Shido's cognition of him, he'd been helping Shido out for two years. Before he dies, he asks the MC why they couldn't have met two years ago.

Netflix is a really weird home for it. It's even got those bumpers designed to be natural breaks in the riffing scenes because the riffing scenes are way too long without a short break, even if it's fast forwarding through commercials.

I kinda think that's the point of Kinga as a character. Like, her whole schtick is trying to cash in on Clayton and Pearl's legacy and failing miserably because she lacks the temperament hence the pep talk Pearl gives her in episode two.

I think it would have worked better if Joel weren't an early nineties prop comic who started every episode with an early nineties prop comedy bit in the invention exchange.

Apparently a couple pairs of them shared writers and producers- which makes some sense as a way to have dug 'em all up. This was written and shot in a lot less time than the old show, so… time constraints.

Essentially we should steal their lunch money.

Also in Denmark they call timetables fartplans.

I think that was at least in part a concession to the fact that some maniacs are going to be binge-watching it.

I think you have to give Big Gay Rusty a break for two reasons:
First, he was resurrecting a dead show that he always intended to pass on to others whose profiles he helped to cultivate.

I never wrote a fanfic but I had a vague idea in the back of my head that if they did revive it, it'd be about gypsy shooting them back into space to escape life with Mike and she'd be the mad.

Yeah, involving her in the riffing more is pretty great.

They can probably find some really worried close zoom in on her face and cut to a ship blowing up in some noble way.

Seriously between the fact they have the assets because of Rogue One and the fact Todd's saying they'll totally do it, they really needed to shut that shit down.
