That's bad…

Totally agree. I kept trying to get into it, and overall I generally like Chris Hardwick, but I also bailed on the podcast.

This may be coming out of left field, but it's something that I've been thinking about while reading a lot of these posts.

This episode reminded me how well Shirley can be used.  Also I want more of her "Go, girl!" dance.  I love it so much.

I agree Shirley is often mishandled, but I think she needed to be at the apartment sans her family.  This is her other family, and it was a very special and important moment for that family.

It's Joss Whedon's life philosophy.  It's basically the positive side of nihilism.  He goes over it in detail in the pretty great commentary for Firefly's excellent finale, "Objects in Space".  I'll play myself out…

The man wore a wig made of IVORY.  How is this not the most popular show of all time?!

C'mon, at least 30% of that shit is a barbed penis.

Oh, would that this comment thread were a time-comment thread…

I also love anything that can end on an happy note, but is still mostly depressing.  Feels authentic.

@avclub-fcef722c15ec0cd77565749edf6d1240:disqus :  I take your point, the popularity of a seemingly random pairing can change plans.  And I agree that Harmon likely doesn't have set-in stone plan that can't be changed.

That's true, and overall, this was Chevy Chase's best work/episode of the season, possibly show (I still crack up just imagining his facial expressions during Baby Boomer Christmas).  But that short little string of insults is so strong… Particularly:

PPBBBFFFTTTT!!!

The Nerdist has had almost the entire cast I believe (individually) or at least their goal was to have everyone.  I think they got up to Donald Glover, Joel McHale, Alison Brie and Danny Pudi.

"Memoirs of the Invisible Man: the Video Game!"

I find there are certain things I like, where objective criteria no longer matters.  It's rare and reserved for only a few things. *cough* Deadwood *cough*  Community has reached this status for me.  My grade was an A, with no hesitation.  Most episodes are for me, with only a few exceptions, and those are probably

Missed this as well, but looking at the build up, I cant imagine the comment needed flagging…

His best work since he was insulting Vicki during the political debate.  That was some gold.

How Naya Riveria was left out is a mystery too me.
