While I thought Banks was great in her role, I just really hated the love triangle storyline altogther. So boring. It basically sidelined Jack, probably the best character on the show, because I hated his story so much. But her character is really fun.

Well, of course Ruddy. We all wish that.

The Stephanie/JJ was basically a Cyrano (or Roxanne, if you prefer) situation, but using super-powers.

Modern Day Glitter wearing Yesteryear Glitter's glasses.

Comparing Curb Your Enthusiasim and The Marriage Ref really drives home where the creative talent behind Seinfeld eminated from…

Outsourced is not funny. It's not offensive, as I assumed it would be, but it is certainly not funny. It's as bland as bland can be. Like they forgot they needed to write jokes. And it's a crime how poorly and under-used Bader is. His presence should guarantee a few laughs per episode, but he just sits there.

All I know, in Canada, we have community colleges that offer Degrees instead of Diplomas and take four years to complete. Usually the programs are related to trades though, so in Jeff's case, he'd probably need at least a year at a university to obtain a B.A.

@HTH

The funniest part of all of this, is the debate going on here (on a message board for a POP CULTURE website) is about as balanced and intelligent as the one at the national political level. Just a bunch of people calling each other names. Everyone just picks a side and starts yelling.

Oh man! That is not only HILARIOUS, but also so CLEVER! Good thing you were here to let us know our reactions were wrong. Cause that was a close call…

Just want to voice my agreement with the "Buy the DVD's!!" crowd. Not only do they have commentaries for every episode, but possibly the best bunch of outtake material ever collected. Donald Glover is a gifted improvisor..

I hadn't thought the "usually" bit between Britta and Jeff was referring to anything more than the one time in "Modern Warfare", but now that I think about it, it's definitely possible they were hinting they may have hooked up a few more times…

Whoa, easy there Ixian. No need to get indignant, just wish the guy a happy CancerAIDS and move on like the rest of us.

Agreed 7E, I thought the Britta character was a lot more fleshed out and developed in the early part of season 1 than people give her credit for. The line about Radiohead combined with the admission that she never does anything about the causes she supposedly supports (in the second episode, "Spanish 101") instantly

Might want to check that logic once more, ^. Lost isn't on the list, because it didn't crack the top 15 shows in this survey, looking at the divide between Republicans and Democrats. Being on or off the list isn't causally connected to being on or off the air.

Really loved that line bk. I try to use as much as my daily life allows it.

I'm pretty sure that's a gross over simplification of what happened. This was a woman who had severe psychological disorders, and the problems run way deeper than her being a "coked-up slut".

If you could queef up some funnier posts, that'd be great too.

I just hink it's totally in character for Britta to say something she thinks will be cool, but she just doesn't pull it off. I love that she said the line, but the delivery was the key. The "turning it into a snake" and "3…2…1…NOT!" jokes spring to mind. So while I agree that we could have a few more transitional

I agree with Movie Reference, I bought Britta's turn to evil was much more believeable than, say, Shirley's. I mean, she's the one who came up with the idea of Jeff sleeping with a kid's mom, just to hurt a teenager's feelings. Deep down, she is not the person she pretends/wants to be, which makes her much more
