@avclub-d019eb089e65903455cc52308f00b997:disqus I have some beautiful ties. It's a damn shame they're rotting away in my closet. Thank you for your encouragement.

It's a Dell. It was under $400. It's pretty poorly made and has a terrible keyboard. I didn't want to spend a lot because I have a desktop but damn. My old Gateway laptop lasted seven years.
I know — I've told myself that many times but I can't bring myself to buy another one. I packed it in with a ton of other stuff, so it makes me feel better about shipping it.
I have to either get a new job or go to grad school. I cannot go on at my current job anymore. of course, that's what I said last year.
I'm jealous too. I live in an apartment so I do the best I can with potted plants, but it'll never be the garden I want.
I tried to log into an old email account and couldn't remember my password. My security question was "Where did you spend your honeymoon?" I have never been married. I have no idea what it could possibly be.
Speaking of vests, I'm not a vest person myself, but I saw this and wanted it, but $40 is a bit steep, it's just so crazy looking.
I always assume that if someone at work is wearing a tie, it's because they have a court date. I used to like wearing a tie every now and then, but then I saw avril lavigne do it and it was ruined for me.
It was a cheap piece of crap but you get what you pay for. It's less than a year old, still under warranty so at least it's free to fix.
I have a desktop computer that was handed down to me, so I have that, thankfully. The laptop might take 3 weeks, boooo. I also want my internet to work normally again. Why does everything break at the same time? And the sweaters I got fit horribly since they are all enormous, and the sleeves are either too long or too…
Well it's more involved than just plain cookies, since you've got to bake it twice - once in loaf form, let it rest, slice it up and then bake the slices. I like them because they keep forever and don't need any butter or milk (which I often don't have on hand).
I bought some ugly sweaters at my favorite thrift store that I only get to go to when I visit my family. I took a picture specifically for fashion thread, but my laptop had to be sent in for repairs, so I have nothing to show you all.
I have the day off today. My internet is fucked up so I'm waiting for the repair guy to show up, I figured I might as well take the whole day off. Tomorrow is my first day back and I know it's going to be hellish.
I don't like sequins. I associate sequined clothing with being itchy. Also, put that thing in the washing machine and goodbye sequins.
I use a machine at work that goes up to 30,000 psi and I'm always afraid it's going to kill me.
I made some anise biscotti, yummy but tooth shatteringly hard. I might be getting my slow cooker back soon, I packed it up and my mom will send it to me, someday.
ha well I'm glad to hear you've got one more year of freedom left!
I think people are still getting back to normal, it's still kinda dead around here. Hope you had a good night at roller derby, happy new year. For the first time in forever I actually got invited to a new years party and I'm pretty hung over. I get the feeling I may have said some stupid things, but god knows I'm not…
Happy Birthday! If I remember correctly, this is a big one. Welcome to the 30s.
The only Taking of Pelham One Two Three that I've seen is not the old one OR the new one, it's the 1998 made-for-TV one with Vincent D'Onofrio. I saw it at 3AM and thought…is that Vincent D'Onofrio and is that that Pelham 1 2 3 movie because I don't see Walter Matthau or Denzel Washington and who knew there was a…
