Played Dawn of War and got slaughtered by the Eldar. Pointy-eared little bastards.
Best Keith David line: "WELL THEN WE'RE WRONG!"
@SGIF: Thanks to Britain's ITV cutting that part, I didn't realise Garry uttered those immortal words until I bought the DVD in 2002. And when he said them, I couldn't stop laughing.
Agreed. You're watching the planning all the while, lulled into a sense of false security, thinking, "they're gonna kick the alien's arse" and then suddenly it's there - it's been a step ahead the whole time.
*be*. Duh.
I think that episode was called "Ice" but it was more down to paranoia and suspicion than a shape-shifting alien. Then again I don't think I've seen that ep in 20 years so I could b wrong.
Terrifying
I watched this on pirate video when I was 11. Major mistake. I couldn't sleep for nights after - the scene of the dog's head splitting open haunted my dreams every time I closed my eyes.
"You've gotta be fucking kidding…"
"Last night was an A-1, tip top clubbing jam fair. It was a sandwich of fun on ecstacy bread, wrapped up in a big bag like disco fudge. It doesn't get much better than that, I just wish sometimes I could control these FOCKING MOOD SWINGS!"
Grange Hill
Grange Hill makes another appearance in Series 2, when the famous animated opening sequence (http://www.youtube.com/watc… is parodied/paid homage to as Daisy tells Marsha why she shouldn't exercise.
From work.

There's an awesome write-up of Leonard Par 6 at the Agony Booth:
Shit, the Glendale one is closing.
Dear Mr. O'Neal
Please find enclosed a bill for a new monitor and keyboard. My current ones are drenched in coffee after I saw 3D Hitler.
Pretty inevitable
I went to the Borders in Cerritos before Christmas armed with a 40%-off coupon. After picking up a full-price book and two from the buy-one, get-one-free bin, the total came to $16 - two dollars *less* than the cost of the full-price book. No wonder they went bust.
Oops
The paper I worked for in Wales did a big feature on nu metal, although every person - writer, copy-editor, designer, proof-reader - must have been over 60 because "nu metal" was written as "new metal" all the way through, including in the headline, subdeck, pullquote and captions.
Luke Goss
He was the bad guy in Blade 2, and did a pretty good job. And wasn't he in Hellboy 2?
