You're right, @avclub-884c4beddd8c98bb3b016bdfcc1bcdf8:disqus I had forgotten about the movie assistant thing.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the scene where we first learned and saw how ruthless Furio could be back in Season 2 filmed with handhelds? I just remember that having a chaotic, disjointed feel that went along with the sudden violence and brutality that ensued, but I could be mistaken.

Except then he goes on to join the "party planning business" or whatever, which is clearly still being funded and supported by his family's mob money. If he had just joined the military and left, sure, he would have been redeemed, but his parents wouldn't have allowed that, and the cynical nature of the show wouldn't

I can't be the only one who thought of Michael Corleone from the beginning of "The Godfather" (or "One" as they refer to it in the Sopranos' universe) when they started going down the AJ joins the military path.

You also don't hear Nicko McBrain yell "Motherfucker!" at the end of the studio version either, but you certainly do on Live After Death. Nicko denies it's him, but anyone who knows his distinct voice can tell it's him. That's always been my theory, at least.

I'm looking forward to his autobiography. I believe Corey Mitchell is ghost-writing it, or at least doing the foreward.  It's amazing that he actually comes off as the better man in the Pantera situation these days, as Vinnie Paul comes off as irrational and petty by still shutting Phil off from any and all contact.

Judas Priest headlined with Black Sabbath in 2004, Iron Maiden headlined with Sabbath in 2005.  Superjoint was at the 2004 show, I believe.

There's no way this show first aired in 2004. I was graduated high school in 2002, and I'm almost positive this show was on the air the summer that I graduated.

I almost always bust out Damnation on the first cold, rainy days of Autumn. On the other end, once the first nice, warm days of Spring occur, Down's "II: A Bustle In Your Hedgerow" is my go-to album. Probably because I picked it up on a warm spring day back in 2002, a great time in my life (Spring of my senior year of
