I watched Session 9 3 times. Each time I would watch it, think "That was slightly better than most Sci-Fi Original Horror Movies, but not by much," forget about it for a year or so, then read a bunch of people/reviews depicting it as one of the decade's great atmospheric horror flicks and watch it again.

Another point in favor for The Ring over Ringu: The method of exposition in Ringu didn't do a lot for me. In The Ring, since Watts' character is a journalist, it makes sense that she's able to track down the information and put the pieces together- in Ringu, they just kind of wander around and have psychic backstory

The Silent Hill series is pretty amazing, 2 being the towering champion above them all. It's given me a lifelong irrational fear of air-raid sirens (to go along with the perfectly rational fear that you're supposed to have when you hear one) in any context.

Can't help but notice
That Keith didn't actually answer the question. OK, scary things scare you but don't actually disturb you; so what does? You holding out on us, man?

Hey, more people from the Knoxvegas area. How about that?

They used a bass player on most of the albums, but in concert Manzarek would play the bass line on keyboard.

The Doors are an amazing band, and I'll snipe mercilessly with extreme sarcasm at anyone who says otherwise.

See, I can't help but feel like those of you who are pretty much converting movie names into porn names are doing it wrong.

Bringing Out the Fucking Dead, Goddamn It

Charlie and Dee?

I'm the ghost post with the most.

Just saw this a few hours ago
Now it's all dark and shit in my house. We have very thin walls here, so I can hear every time my roommate moves around in his room. I'm just waiting for the footsteps to start up, or that evil low-pitched hum.

Hear, hear, mbs.

My understanding was that France had both a public option and privatized insurers, and people pretty much just picked whichever appealed to them most. Is that inaccurate?

You do seem to be implying, throughout your various posts, that poor people deserve to suffer and die because they won't man up and get a job like the rest of us. That's the kind of thing that invites direct attacks.

Two things I am amused by from people on the "against" side of the public healthcare thing:

That zombie game
From the screenshot there, it looks like it ought to be called "I R3SK1NNED CRIMSONLAND!!!1!cos(0)!!

Also, if you someone eat it.

Diabolical Box
The one from Hellraiser?

I got to see Moon in the theater and it was pretty awesome, but I don't think it needs the theater setting in order to be awesome.
