The lyrics to "Living on a Prayer" are such watered-down, pseudo Springsteen pap.

Well, this was a waste of time…

Yes, exactly.

I was always under the impression the other theme song was "For Pete's Sake"…

Yes, with the actors who made the original Vanilla Sky, even.

I, um, have much love for that ill-fated production you refer to, but since I'm not feeling suicidal, I won't go into details here.

Lame attempt at mocking Matthew Perry, who despite being guilty of frequently displaying his Chandlerisms outside of Friends, did a guest arc on The West Wing that is superior by far to any of the work performed by the remaining quintet from his old sitcom.

So, we Americans are bourgeois, dumbass consumers of the likes of Saw, Hostel, etc. who don't know any better.

[Cue Billy Crystal singing "Surrey with the Fringe On Top" from Oklahoma in When Harry Met Sally.]

I'm coming über late to the party so forgive me if someone already mentioned this: the actress who played Molly in this episode was also Jake's bitchy girlfriend and Farmer Ted's first in 16 Candles.

Can we just ignore this douchebag? Thanks.

I dunno…this is the kinda thing might go over at Comic-Con or other conventions, but scarcely anywhere else. Of course, ymmv.

While Wahlberg and other have gone over the top in their comments on this particular subject, deep down there is a grain of truth. Film reviews are awash in cynicism and snark, as if one day Pitchfork's critiques became the model to follow. Ugh.

Any opportunity to tear P4K a new one is a wonderful thing.

I was expecting MacKaye to either denounce this and distance himself from it in every way or donate the loot to charity or some progressive org he likes. Guess even holier-than-thou types gotta cash in eventually, huh?

Dug the trailer. Will eventually see it.

song, you’re like, 'Oh, yeah. This is for me; this is for gross people'.”

Re: shaken not stirred

This comes across as an interview held with a subject who has shitty taste in music and is answering questions while having his first coffee of the day…and has shitty taste in music. In other words, why?
