I thought Weaver did everything naturally.  Perfect diet, Pilates, etc.

Yeah, Rude Boy has some truly great concert footage, but I don't even remember the story.

Are there really a whole bunch of people who won't shut up about The Blues Brothers?  I know plenty of people who like them (and/or the movie) but they keep it in perspective.

Did you just name your new segment…"Shits and Riggles?"

"FUCK…AMERICA"

Well, they're working on gynophobia on the Louis CK post.

You can still read it by clicking on the commenter's name.  Kind of a let down, actually.

"Gash" is the one that makes me cringe.

The twist is:  Douglas's family are the real villains.  They put him through all that to teach him a lesson or some shit?  Bunch of sadists.  I still liked the movie well enough.

Obviously he doesn't have nearly the number of corporate sponsorships and political ties (I'm assuming) that Rush has.  But he organized a freaking D.C. Rally, presumably in response to Glen Beck's thing a couple of months previously.  I'd say that's staking a place in the discourse.

Google is now Karl…

Homeless tend to smell better and shave more often, amirite hurrdurr

I never saw the Kerry interview, but, assuming that it was a softball piece, yeah, Stewart should have balled up a little bit.  His justification to the odious Mr. Carlson was "Hey, whaddya you want from me?  My lead in show is Crank Yankers!"  Jon Stewart makes his living calling other people on their transparent

"Greta Van Sustren in a terrible man"

All these guys need stop using the "I'm an entertainer!" defense.  Rush may have started it, but it was disappointing to see Stewart cop to it a few years ago.  People might talk about the degrees of influence the individuals have over their respective parties, but they are all part of the discourse, and they need to

I liked The Subteraneas, and though I never saw the movie, it sounds like an enjoyable trainwreck:  Mardou can't be black anymore, so let's make her French!  That's exotic, right?

"It's 'Arrested Development.'"

The (somewhat sympathetic, or at least pitiable) douchebag in Larry Sanders.

There are some extraordinary scenes in it, like the landing on the beach in the storm.  The portrayal of the utterly provincial villagers seemed almost cartoonish to me, although I'm sure it has some basis in fact.

Not nearly enough scars and random Nazi tattoos for GG.  This guy's fairly dapper in comparison.
