Seriously, does a large part of his audience think that's funny? It's still usually a good show, but it was far better before the funny voice schtick became such a large part of it.

That's what I find weirdly refreshing about his show. No show-biz facades, no high-fiving the front row, no "Have you heard about…" topical humor (well, it's kept to a minimum anyway); just goofy, unpretentious fun with a guy and a sentient robot.
Will I go to hell for remembering most of these episodes?
In the 60s, it was semi-trendy to have an animated "interpretation" of the film's story over the opening credits. The Trouble with Angels, The Dunwich Horror, and of course Catalina Caper.
And it was REAL. They REALLY blew up bridges and shit. (Obligatory old man CGI-hating rant)
REALLY?
"who consider singing in church to be a sin"
Don't you see? This shows that there are reasons to LIVE (well, one reason anyway).
Redbelt! Kind of.
Just imagine the noises he'd be making when Salander sodomizes him:
Judd Apatow-produced TV shows from the 90's>>>Judd Apatow produced movies in the 2000s.
In fariness, probably about 85 percent of male stand-ups are awful too. There are some great female stand-ups, but not a lot of real "legends" yet.
Eh, he's more of a non-partisan hack. He's had Bill Maher, Rush Limbaugh and (I think) Michael Moore on the show and he's been fairly cordial with all of them. He made a million Lewinsky BJ jokes with Clinton in office (frighteningly, I understand he was still making them just a few years ago) and a million "Bush is…
I'm embarassed at how long it took me to pick up on the fact that many of his posts are just repostings from 4chan.
I SAW THE SHIT OUT OF IT (not really)
Already been done, dude: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
The Film Snob Encyclopedia indicates that boobs mark a film as common lowbrow trash, while penises indicate a Work of Art.
This meme is ancient now but it still gets me just about every time.
Homer is really just being himself throughout the episode, it's just that Grimes's work-ethic puts Homer's bad qualities into sharp relief. He doesn't set out to do anything bad (and even invites Grimes over to his house as a misguided peace offering), but he is naturally slovenly and lazy.
"The Fire." George's hilarious (and very Georg-ian) cowardice on full display, plus Kramer's severed toe story!
