And the look on her face when the shell casing fell in through the fan. "Oh my god - is that a bullet?!"

That didn't surprise me; right from the get-go, she's wanted to use murder to solve her problems. What surprised me is her actually getting out there in the field, as opposed to emailing the guy or just talking to him on the phone.
@e_buzz_miller:disqus Oh. my. god. That is a fucking GENIUS pairing idea. I now demand Lydia as Saul's wife.
I dunno, the Aussie movie had lots of David Wenham skin.
Walt Jr: MOM JEEZ. YOU WON'T EVEN GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN. I'M GOING TO LEWIS'.
I think the receptionist does it on purpose so Skyler or Walt or whoever will flip their shit on Saul because he wouldn't take their calls. Because Saul is a total skeeve to her.
I don't know what those people are on about, seriously. Fuck the haters, she was fantastic in a lot of her scenes as Martha Bullock, all strait-laced and repressed and not really sure how to act around this total (very angry) stranger who was now her husband.
I seriously thought we had like 15 more minutes to the episode when Hank walked in the interrogation room. I was, of course, forced to yell "FUCK! FUCK!" at the TV loud enough to scare the cat. This is the first season I've watched real-time; I'm not used to having to wait for episodes!
I liked how they showed a commerical for Last House on the Left, prominently featuring Aaron Paul. "Feel sorry for Jesse? Watch this movie where he's a brutal psycho rapist!"
I apparently am going to say some version of this a lot - I think Walt thinks he believes it's about family.
Hank has never really been a "good cop" in the sense of "rules should be followed". He's a very good investigator and has excellent intuition, but when he gets on a scent and thinks he's right, he has a tendency to want to bulldoze everything in his way, including actual legal procedure.
Out with some hussy who was luring him into the evils of breakfast….for dinner.
Man, I miss Mike.
This is actually the first time I've ever really liked Marie.
RIGHT? That 'stache was fantastic!
I don't know why I think Lydia's hilarious, but I do. She thinks she's going be the next Gus Fring, but she has nothing to back it up other than her corporate big-shotness and her Louboutins.
Whoa!
@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus Perhaps it seems contradictory with what I said above, but I don't disagree with you. I agree that it seems like Skyler "wears the pants" a bit more - but I think she only does so until Walt oh-so- patronisingly pulls out his veto rights. I dunno, I've just been around…
I would really, really like to understand why Skyler ever married Walt to begin with. He's not stunningly good-looking, he doesn't really seem to have much of a sense of humour (not that Skyler does either, Christ knows); he's intelligent, but in a way that would likely only be attractive to someone who was…
@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus I half-agree; I am absolutely behind your assessment of Walter's part of the relationship, and I definitely don't see any parental feelings from Walt, but I don't actually think there's any affection from Jesse's side. It's just vastly misplaced loyalty - because as…
