Don't tell anyone, Miller, but if push came to shove, I…I think I might choose another Aubrey/Mautrin movie over more Firefly.  Because I've already gotten SO much more Firefly than I ever thought I would, back in the sad tearful days of 2002, and precious little Aubrey/Mautrin .

I have no intention of seeing this movie either, but I'm fully comfortable in saying that I strongly disbelieve there was anything gutsy about attempting this movie or this role. They took a property well-known and fairly well-loved by Boomers, cast a guaranteed box-office draw actor in one of the main two roles…

I want someone to explain why they couldn't just make this a straight-up goddamn Western, instead of an ironic Bruckheimerfest.  They were always re-running the Lone Ranger TV show when I was a kid, I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the recent comics (when I was keeping up with them), and  gritty grungy justice-seeky Westerns…
