Oh that reminds me; I found it weird at first, but I've come to really like the fact that they use a damn bullroarer on the soundtrack sometimes. It's not often, and it's not overwhelming or really even all that obvious, but it's there.

I agree; I really didn't get emotionally engaged until that moment.  Or rather, I didn't realize that I was emotionally engaged until that moment.

Ooooh yes, I adored how all the men Ashur was SO sure would be loyal just ditched him without blinking.  I don't know what he expected; saying "you can be my gladiators" is ..not really a selling point.

- Crixus finally coming round to Spartacus' plan to Kill Them All,  and him tapping his shield to indicate that Spartacus should use it as a launchpad. The launching was awesome, too, but that little tap said so much.

I really wasn't expecting the arena to be as completely and utterly devastated as it was. I was thinking, maybe a section, and the fire driving everyone out, but enough being left to rebuild. But nope! It was fantastic.

I would be pleased if Agron manages to live, but am not sure I want it. No, it doesn't make sense.

I dunno, would that be a position that needs to be filled immediately, in case Crassus dies on the field or otherwise can't lead?

Once again I have made it just under the wire to catch the last few episodes of a show. I really need to stop doing that.
