All the commentaries (for season one at least, season two I can't speak for because the DVD's not in the UK yet) seemed to have been recorded over the course of one or two days. I presume that if they started two weeks ago, they would have finished them before Harmon got the boot.

Pretty much everything that touches Remedial Chaos Theory is golden, it saved Course Listing Unavailable for me and introduced the whole "darkest timeline" business which took the fandom and finale by storm. That will be the episode that this show will be remembered for
