'Nothing But a Fool' by New Order, and no-ones more's surprised than me about that. It really is a 'return to form'.
Also Julia Holter's 'Lucette Stranded on the Island.

It was the 'Saved by the Bell' compilation; Really liked the whole Bee Gees pop meet Scott Walker vibe. I haven't heard the later stuff but I'm open to recommendations.

If you haven't already, check out Alan Bleasdale's later 'GBH' too. Belated welcome to London by the way.

Music: Robin Gibb's solo stuff; Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons 'psychedelic' album 'The Genuine Imitation Life Gazette'. TV: 30 Rock and Community (both funny/ annoying) and Broad City (a modern classic). Film 'Hard to be a God' - a mindfuck and a half.

Innit, I thought this was great.

Darin is a guarantor of quality every film he's in.

I more or less agree with the review, but some of the film is very funny indeed.

Couldn't agree more. I think his best work other than 'Naked' is the Earthworm in 'James and the Giant Peach'. Although he brought a bit of class to Harry Potter 3 too, along with Oldman.

*spoiler*
Yup, that 'revelation' at the end is some 'Star Trek Into Darkness'-level bullshit.

I would.

I'm shocked this isn't in. Even a kindly Benny Hill couldn't ameliorate that shit.

Eddie Marsan, Stephen Root and David Cameron fucked a dead pig.

Low Rent Peril would make a great band name.

The new Star Wars film should consist entirely of lampshading eps 1, 2 and 3. 'Darth Vader built C3PO? What are the chances?'

I don't know, so I'm going to say warm.

There's a nod to Silence of the Lambs, inevitably.

In the post-credits sequence Bolt turns up to announce that he's putting together a team.

I agree with the rating of this but the review all sounds a bit qualified. I'm a childless grown-up and thought it was a hoot. Stick around for the end credits bit by the way. It's the best gag IMHO.

It's massive in the Middle East too. A stage show has been running there for ages.

I love the series. The Nick Park-written birthday party episode and 'Saturday Night Shaun' more than hold their own against any other Aardman stuff.
