I've always sort of intuitively understood this, I think.
What is totally beyond me is how putting pits into a surface creates pictures, but that's how laserdiscs work!

I'm not explaining how you missed the point of my silly tongue-in-cheek post a second time. And I'm certainly not engaging in a political discussion with a seemingly humorless person on a pop culture website.

WI went for Trump.
The City of Madison overwhelmingly did not.

I guess I fail to see how my post was "pants-staining" over anything, rather then simultaneously running with the whole "fuck the Midwest" thing and being self-deprecating about my chosen home, but if you insist on talking Electoral College, you do realize Trump won WI by a very slim margin, right?

True story: I was probably a senior in high school before it finally dawned on me that the Fonz was actually supposed to be the same age as Richie and Potsie and Ralph. Til then, I just assumed he was a loser dropout who still hung around with kids because he was quite obviously much older then them.

We didn't vote for Trump!

Since I am a nice fellow, I will not remind you of their other smash hits.

I don't like Wilson-Phillips at all but I don't think it's fair to call a group that had three #1 singles and 2 multi-platinum albums "1-hit wonders"

Uh… aren't you the guy who said it blows your mind that people like "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the thread about tens of thousands of people all enjoying a singalong of it?

I'd trade the version we got for no version at all.

This is literally the lowest threshold for having one's mind blown I've ever heard.
Or did you not mean to say that the concept that people experience subjective things differently than you is beyond your ability to comprehend?

"Typos are cause for ridicule"
They sure are, A.V. Club. They sure are.

"Let's look for the purple banana til they put us in the truck."
And no, I ain't shitting you. Them's the words.

Well this was . . . almost five minutes long.
I literally couldn't even tell what some of the malfunctions were supposed to be. It was just a narrator saying, "Look at this thing!" And I looked, but had no idea what I was supposed to find funny/horrifying/wrong. I mean, they're animatronics. They look broken when

The problem with this test is that there's no follow-up.
As it's delicious going in, I'm not surprised KFC won (especially since as someone else already noted, you get spicy, not mild, when you go to Popeye's, because doy.) My issue is the part an hour or so after eating KFC, when it feels like my stomach is full of

Hmmmm…
Reading this comment and the responses has definitely made me curious.
I really disliked Rise, so much so that I skipped Dawn completely. Sounds like I might need to give it a shot. The question is: do I need to rewatch Rise to get it? Because that sounds unpleasant to me.

They're both worthwhile watches if you can get past them not being masterpieces.

Sounds positively Russian!

Well, the actor who played Jack probably did.

The extreme enthusiasm so many in my FB feed are exhibiting over the Roseanne revival has me beyond baffled. Do they not remember it was a show about a family with school-age children who are now all grown up? Did none of these people see the last season of that show?
