Murmur still blows me away. The song "Catapult" alone…holy cats. You're def. alone on that one.

I call bullshit
Can someone, an AV Club writer/sophisticate perhaps, explain how they determine the average age of viewers? Isn't the method of calculating TV ratings pretty inexact, too? Seems like a lot of numbers that are just averages of estimates of projections that turn out to mean nothing.
Remember…
when critics were constantly comparing them to the Velvet Underground? In these clear-headed days of 2011, can we finally talk about how 100% off-base that comparison was??
The reason his quote about listening to "dudes who RAWK" seems week to those of us in Gen Y is that his idea of dudes who rawk is Jefferson Airplane.
Of all the lame jokes in these movies, the name "Gaylord Focker" has got to be the worst. You can give a fictional character any name you want! Why not just name him Dick Hertz or Haywood Jablomi?
Rememblack: The first Tonight Show bit ruled, no doubt. But I didn't expect another opening quite that huge this time since that Tonight Show bit was so recent. It'd be silly to try to compete with that on yet another new show 1 year later.
That 4 Non-Blondes song is actually titled "What's Up" and it is the worst ever.
Remember when MST3K made a really obscure joke references exactly what you were thinking about just the other day? And you thought, "Jeez these guys are in mt BRAIN!" That's how these recaps make me feel…it's like you're in my living room remarking on the exact same bullshit I am. These have been my favorite TV Club…
No Sympathy for Michael
(Well maybe a little. The coming-out thing sucks, but…)
Autotune the News is so embarrassing to watch. Horrendous.
You guys are projecting…Padma does not seem high at all.
Ricky Wilson
Ricky Wilson didn't just "go away," or lose his influence on the rest of the b-52s, as the write-up seems to suggest. He died of AIDS and was pretty much irreplaceable.
This is a hilarious example of an AV Clubber who has no idea what he's talking about copy-pasting from an online source to show off his "knowledge." How on earth could you have "forgetten" that Mr. Rocket was white??
I like Gilbert and Penn, but…
The Aristocrats (the joke and movie) are not funny at all. The joke, the significance, the meta-concept. All bullshit.
Isn't "Big Ten Inch Record" an old blues song too, though?
Why do people submit a comment about how indifferent they are about the topic at hand? This is a great opportunity for you to NOT comment.
I think it's more a case of "a comedy writer wrote a funny moment into his show."
I was right up front, 2 feet from DLR, on their reunion tour. It was absolutely a success.
Who didn't know Paul Rudd was funny?
Was Paul Rudd ever known for anything other than comedy? "Clueless" might not be my cup of tea, but it is a comedy, right?
People here over-analyze jokes way too much (see: Mr. Show TV Club reviews). I don't mind reviews on entire films or TV episodes, but I'm not sure I like putting a microscope on every single joke.
