I had TOTALLY FORGOTTEN about that scene. Guess the Silence affected me, too! Ha!

Speaking of River being part Time Lord (or as Amy said, having a *time head* from being conceived in the time vortex), I've frequently wondered how it is that River is so knowledgeable about the Tardis. She claims to have been taught about the Tardis by *the best* but NOT the Doctor. And that would seem to be true,

River never seemed flippant about having killed someone. When it was revealed and she was pressed for details she said he was a "good man" and the "best she'd ever known." I'm leaning more toward that she killed Rory than the Doctor, but under what circumstances remain to be seen. Perhaps that's why she's so

Knowing now that River is Amy and Rory's daughter, it's interesting to look back and notice that she never seems overly in awe of them when she first encountered them — there was no foreshadowing that they meant anything more to her than just the Doctor's current companions. Of course, they were just meeting HER for

In The Impossible Astronaut, the child keeps calling the President Nixon to ask for help, but when they all go to the warehouse where the child is (presumably) in the suit, she very purposely hides from them all. Then, later, at the orphanage, don't they show the young girl keeping herself hidden from them there,

I definitely had the impression that the Doctor was leaving them at that point in time to go back to meet River in another time frame — as in, he had to look amazing for her or make a good impression.
