I'd disagree with the idea of him taking Patrick "back", as I don't feel like him leaving suggested that the relationship was over; he just didn't want to leap this particular hurdle with Patrick at the moment.

The fact of the matter is that Richie should have never agreed to go to the wedding in the first place. Patrick invited him after a massively shitty day at the park as a way to smooth over their problems and pretend everything was okay, and he pretty much browbeat Richie into agreeing. Leaving at the last second was a…
Lynn's comments seemed to suggest it may have been due to his rebuff of Dom's advances last episode.
Swap out Dad for Mom and that hit way too close too home.
I spent a week in December in the Castro, and I can definitely say that a guy in a coffee shop or bar in that neighborhood is at least as likely to be gay as he is to be straight, if not more so.
Which model?
And apparently you're not the only one, either. @avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus is moonlighting as well!
@avclub-d2bf5875231cbfdd4ef1ea73aca4109a:disqus : I like that you're posting both here and on Savage Love. :-)
When you're a kid and you want to go weeeeeeeee, but you don't have drugs yet…
No commentary yet on the brilliant "mini" movie homages this season. Very much hoping this gets addressed in the discussion of "The Unnatural"; I'm fairly certain the My Neighbor Totoro, Terminator 2, and Trainspotting riffs got more laughs from me than anything else on TV this past year. I'd love to hear what was…
Bob's Burgers had two of the best film callouts this year, both of which had me pausing the DVR to collect myself after losing control over the sheer brilliance.
The Microphones - "The Glow"
Things finally clicked for me last night when she referred to herself as a "gay man". I know that this should be obvious, but with all of the focus on drag and the drama between contestants, it's easy to forget that these girls have lives outside of the competition and their craft. Roxxxy Andrews may be a full-figured…
Her facial expression certainly didn't do much to dispute that argument. :-)
Antiquing?
"It was like water off a duck's back." I take it you're rooting for Monsoon season, @avclub-7aee1b75b527e215f31e20a5c4e7a768:disqus ?
I actually JUST made drew the same Heathers parallel in an email to a friend. My recollection is a little foggy, but I don't recall Veronica ever acting in a particularly nasty manner, so I think it works. Also, the mental image of Jinkx as Martha Dumptruck (complete with Rascal scooter!) has me rolling.
@twitter-430918947:disqus : This is exactly what I was referring to; for a moment I thought this might be a subtle suggestion that they're gay (and an indication of Peggy's progressiveness that she's okay with it), but that's likely just me projecting?
Peggy makes a comment at the beginning of the episode to her underlings that I didn't quite understand the context of; something to the effect of "I'm not unhappy because of what you are" or something moderately similar. Anyone catch this and understand the meaning/context? It's more than possible I'm being…
@avclub-0d1d480d697d06fb8062edb057dbaed2:disqus : That was totally my impression as well, though possibly with a touch more subtlety. Daenerys has bought all the Unsullied, and in exchange leaves a dragon behind as she sails off; accordingly, the Unsullied consider her their rightful owner. Chances are they don't know…
