Both of these weren't bad, which sadly, is all we can expect anymore for what was once the best show ever.  (I did laugh at Bart's aside to the audience).
One thing about this episode….24 seasons in and they FINALLY do a Carl heavy episode?  Chirst, they brought Lorleen Lumpkin and the Vegas wives back before giving

Hmmmm, what's the name of that song again?

On a similar note, Goddard's 1965 film PIERROT LE FOU has a scene where one character dresses up like a dim witted gun toting American general while an Asian woman runs away from him, to the delight of some American tourists.  Man, WWII liberation sure wore off fast….

Is that horse doing the reaction shot the same horse that played MR ED?  It could be!  And isn't a talking horse a lot like something from the T-ZONE?

I find it interesting that Weird Al has had a longer career than many of the people he's parodied.

Oh, and if I ran a comedy club, I'd play "Clowntime is Over" at closing time every night.

Allow me to add my voice to the chorus of praise for Costello's masterpiece.  The songs are all short (none more than 3 minutes), and they just bang into each other, like you're listening to a stack of singles from Motown and Stax Volt.    But the lyrics are much too bitter and enigmatic to be from classic soul songs,

The funny thing is that this godawful film seems to have blown its whole budget on getting a name like McDowell, and yet I doubt their target audience have any idea who he is.  The Christian cut of A CLOCKWORK ORANGE is five minutes long…

"You see the whole culture. Nazis, deodorant salesmen, wrestlers, beauty contests, a talk show. Can you imagine the level of a mind that watches wrestling?"- Max Von Sydow, HANNAH AND HER SISTERS

My favorite moment of the show so far was when they thought that Alexander Haig was staging a military coup after Reagen was shot.  While all of America was laughing at Haig's declaration of being in charge, Soviet agents took his seriously….

Wow that second clip.  What kind of bitch cock blocks her son?  The same kind of bitch who horribly warbles "Talk to the man upstairs", apparently.

Did they ever explain  how Ed and Francis learned to talk?  I don't think so….clearly this film is keeping alive a glorious tradition.

Great band, but the murky sound quality kills my enjoyment.  Was the guy who pressed record even in the same room?

What HIGHLANDER 2 &3?  Those movies aren't just bad, they are incoherently, resoundingly awful in a way that makes you question how a sentient adult could possibly have written them and gotten them made.  And then there's BATTLEFIELD EARTH…

Hmmm, I kinda like WHADDUP,  I mean, it ain't MAMA SAID KNOCK YOU OUT, but it's kinda catchy, the dj break is good, and the way the beat accelerates at the end works, and should be fun live.  Am I crazy?  Does everyone else here think it's a crime against humanity?

So….will she be marrying Ted Nugent?  They could have a reality show: the Nugents and Phelps's compete to see who can be more hateful…

I will probably finish the season on this show, but I can't argue with most of your criticisms, especially the implausibility of it all.  How can so many people commit murder in public without anyone stopping them before or afterwards?  Just this episode we have the spear gun and the stabbing! And how could a young

I love Bergman!  Especially on MURPHY BROWN.

I lived through the 80's, and I continually refer to it as a horrid cesspool of a decade, and what better proof do I need than these videos, each awful in its own way…

I really enjoy Cecil B Demille's silent KING OF KINGS, one nice feature, every line of dialogue that Jesus has(on title cards, naturally) includes the chapter and verse of the bible it's taken from, giving the film a sense of veracity that sound versions don't have.  And that's coming from an atheist!
