Serendipity, I think- in Sepinwall's post-finale interview, Joel Fields kind of implies that the one week hiatus was used to help deliver the final episodes since they were so under the gun at that point, (although he also says none of the airdates changed, which may mean FX knew they were behind and planned around

love those SF Debris videos- I remember watching a bunch a long time ago, and this link made me really excited that he's kept plugging away at it. Thanks for the link!

Oh, love love love. In a better world this idea happens.

Confession in advance that I missed the earlier episodes this season, so there may be dynamics I'm missing, but….

this comment made me go looking online for that powder-blue suit Mads wore, but I got distracted and ended up with about 10 other screen captures

So, I was not expecting to like this album as much as I did. I remember listening to Brand New Eyes and thinking that besides the top one or two singles, Paramore was banking really hard on having a lot of energy in order to cover up that the rest of their songs felt very flimsy and thrown together. But with the

RED ALERT

I have already spent far, far too much of my life analyzing NBC's ratings, but somehow they've lured me back in yet again. That 1.6 is the exact same rating as last week's premiere, Variety says next week is another re-run for Scandal and Elementary, and Parks and Rec and The Office are apparently next week's lead-in

Like? Nay, I love this news.

Absolutely- after the pilot they could have taken it in a direction where they're leaning heavier on Lecter being an overt menace, but after tonight it seems they're letting him stretch out and simply be an incredibly fascinating fucked up wild card….that may eat someone. And tonight is when Mikkelsen's performance

I'm not sure where they're going with this (well, I do, but it seems too obvious); the "we haven't been alone in a room" line from Will to Dr. Bloom tonight was paralleled in last week's episode. She says the exact same line to Jack in her first scene.

magook's pointing out you confused "canon" with "cannon"

Bjorn is a Joffrey-clone, just lurking and waiting for the right opportunity to be a tyrant shit.

oh, wow

In that vein, I loved the awkward hands Nick added to "I'm wearing Schmidt!" while doing it for Jess.

The best idea I'd heard was just that. Since Fallon's staying in New York, the other show should be in LA….which means the UCB universe would be right there. But who should host this motley crew?

Like you, I thought there was a problem where Primer fell short in the emotional logic of the back half (particularly why Rachel and Thomas were important). But this review leaves me feeling optimistic Carruth may have a better grasp of that this time. I just wish it hadn't taken 9 years to get to this point…..

I was hoping they'd bring in Odin for a cameo during Ragnar's almost-execution. The character looks cool, and I kind of like that supernatural flavor we saw at the start of the first episode when Odin was plucking away the souls.

Broad spoilers here, so click that little minus tab to the right if you want to avoid that

Not just the images of the title sequence- the *very logo of the show* has a pretty obvious indicator of the "spoiler" in it. Which is suggesting this is not really supposed to be any kind of mystery, just an aspect of the premise they didn't get around to explaining in the pilot.
