I'm perturbed by Scott's boredom with the petty rules of WYR. Theme song silence must be maintained!

Put me in the "homicidal rage" category for Lapkus' voice. PFT and Gillian were hilarious, but it took all my willpower not to turn it off as soon as Lauren started talking.

I like this response, because it veers towards why Palmer's plan bugged me: the basic actions sounded more like a multinational corporation trying to cut labor costs, but Palmer deployed a lot of artistic and sentimental rhetoric to obscure that.

I'd actually recommend against newbies starting with Rose- the story's not very good (malicious devouring trash cans!) and visually it looks pretty soap opera-ish. To me it'd be like getting someone into Star Wars by starting with The Phantom Menace-they're going to finish and say "and I have 10 more hours to watch?".

I agree, Branscome didn't seem an interesting enough character to have Parham shut down Scott's attempts to dig further in.

It's a starkly different flavor compared to the comedy/snark podcasts I listen to, but Janet Varney's so dorkily passionate that it swings all the way around to being cool (for whatever that term's worth). I think she's apologized to vegans for mentioning her gluten-free diet, and the people of Wisconsin for using
