Was that the kitchen scene? I remember it being utterly relentless and awesome

There were more than a few scenes in The Babadook that would have fit in just fine in this list. The scene that sticks out most to me was one that didn't even involve the titular monster (the birthday party)

The only game I've ever played where realism actually mattered was LA Noire. I don't think that studying cell-shaded faces for tics and tells would have really worked as well as the motion-captured and realistic ones of the game. I'm not saying that this was exactly great or necessary, though, but it is one example

You can just skip the whole year to be honest. Pretty sure we jumped the shark around '98.

I've only gotten one listen in so far today. I've never looked forward to my subway ride home from work more than today. Can't wait to just shut my brain off and listen to it

Wasn't that joke a reference to Launchpad from DuckTales? Either way, if there's ever a live adaptation of DuckTales he'd be a shoo-in

I would be, but I can't quite get past the "naked, chiseled, and glistening" part

Not that I don't enjoy Modest Mouse, but come on AV Club.

Hey guys.

I'M RAP RAP RAP RAPPIN. IN MY SOCKS, RAPPIN. GOT ON MY JEANS.

PS: Your TUESDAY is in the sink

OK, Lena Dunham

Anyone else out there spend all night last night screaming at the heavens and cursing Tre Mason's name because of fantasy football?

Like a balloon. And something bad happens

I'd say it's absolutely worth another shot. Just an all-around really sweet, great movie. Yes, the Mattress Man plot is a bit off-putting, but, if you put it in the larger scope of the healing/redemptive power of love on odd and/or broken, it really works

That's a great one, but I'm now kicking myself for not thinking of the "Little Brother" song in Adventure Time

It's OK, because you can still vote for Nathan for You

Once again, the conservative, sandwich-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor

Typical. Fantasy football is the worst. I really want to have my league switch to a bidding system for waiver wire to at least add another layer of strategy to it

Okay, Ed Koch
