What would give anyone the idea that there would be stories of "tough moral decisions that must be made during time of civil unrest” in Africa that don't involve white liberal foreign aid workers?

What does this have to do with Game of Thrones?

I always dig the Avvenire centerfold.

I object to the suggestion that Fallon wins on the musical guest front. Insightful interaction with outstanding musical guests is a consistent Colbert strong suit. The Tonight Show will have nothing on StePhest Colbchella.

I am confident that Colbert's team of lawyers, led former FEC chairman Trevor Potter, have nailed an agreement that maximizes his creative freedom.

Doesn't Colbert's Ben and Jerry's flavor still completely rule over Fallon's? I am optimistic that Colbert will hold his own.

The character "Stephen Colbert" is brilliantly effective because the character is the show, and Colbert's steps out of character were brief and rare enough that he maintained effectiveness.

The character Henry Jennings accomplished more in this episode, with like three spoken lines, than the Chris Brody character has accomplished in the entire run of Homeland.

In analyzing this particular episode, the writer might have considered comparing/contrasting the angles used in the two riding scenes with Arya and the Hound.

In Soviet Russia, the anus clench you.

“Who’s the audience here?”

[Oleg is swayed] by her strength, not her weakness.

Yes, she is a bit dumb, and I actually almost sympathize with your lack of sympathy for the stupid. That's part of the appeal of The Americans; none of the main characters are stupid, and their relationships with the stupid ones (Martha, Vlad, Stan's wife) are fascinating.

Yes, Lucia is clearly on the verge of being "sent to Belize." I wish there were a plausible happier ending for her, but at least Belize is very close to her beloved Nicaragua.

C'mon, not much sympathy?

Arkady has proven to Oleg that he is willing and able to lead and get shit done (and is not merely a pathetic bureaucrat).

It was shocking how much Arkady and Oleg had each other's backs with Nina out of the room.

IIRC, it was a gift given with the promise that they would check out some particular astronomy stuff together (can't remember the details). A few episodes back, Henry expressed disappointment that his Dad blew him off.

Maybe we need a girls' session with Elizabeth and Kate where they paint their nails and discuss the nuances of proper wig selection. Then go out and seduce, torture and kill an appropriate adversary.

That, or perhaps they find a way to ensure that she "dies well" in the line of duty.
