Not clear, but I suspect that Oleg presented the opportunity as a fait accompli and Arkady went along.

Yes, very weird, but believable and interesting. She is trying to re-justify something that she never before questioned, and is struggling. She is disgusted, doesn't want to be disgusted, used Phillip/Clark to prove something to herself, and failed catastrophically.

Maybe, but not necessarily. It was always clear that Gaad was never "chummy," and it was implied that co-workers visiting his home was not welcome. And a Buddhist making a point of being a Buddhist would be no Buddhist.

That would be tongue-in-cheek "creepy," but this shit was world-class.

I really hope that Phillip goes full Freddie Mercury at some point.

Was she empathizing with the Sandanista, because it reminded her of the gross sexual things she has to do at her job?

It's likely that his wife is Buddhist, but why do you assume that Gaad would live in a mini-temple if he wasn't as well?

I suspect that within a few years, Oleg will be looking at a Bill Gates painting.

A friend of mine conned his father into buying a "daisy wheel" printer for his Commodore 64. As I recall, it cost substantially more than any off-the-shelf home printer today (not adjusted for inflation).

And I don't think that I've been with a lady that matched since high school (or college at least). Looking back, though, I don't think I was paying enough attention.

I don't imagine that there will be any polygraph. Nina played it well.

The lovely young Sandinista is a much more believable daughter for Elizabeth than Paige can ever be. She oozes with idealistic fervor, as Elizabeth once did. To the point that Elizabeth can mock with both sympathy and cynicism. "A world without exploitation, and dignity for all."

What?

Now we know what Oleg is up to. It is less about creeping on Nina, and more about that adorable "Arpanet Information Brochure."

Gaad is a Buddhist!

As Elizabeth mentioned at another point, "You never know what people are into."

I wonder how many viewers of this show remember the lovely sound of the dot matrix as a "latest technology." I attended a "magnet" high school at which that was a major attraction.

Martha didn't appear in this episode, but she is clearly one step closer to the end of her road. Clark now really, really hates the wig. And Martha is a much, much looser end than that congressional aide.

I think I would like to try it with Clark.

I vaguely remember this from three years ago. Blue meth in The Walking Dead. Cool.
