If this show continues for many seasons, I predict that the Jennings' biggest concern will be in the opposite direction. Once she passes through the "evangelical" phase, Paige starts joining anti-nuke protests and demonstrations in solidarity with the Sandinistas. She is smart and determined enough that she eventually

Hey girl, I would never try to arrange you.

I've been thinking about Dexter meets Mad Men, with the comic sensibility of Louie. Set in mid-1990s Portland.

Abe Vigoda is still around? Now that's who we need for Season 2 of True Detective. Could we pair him with Sharon Gless?

The Burn Notice guy is part of this? What could possibly go wrong?

I believe that the most honest words we've heard from Oleg were "I am a feminist. I work for Mother Russia." He is no communist, but he is no asset for the Americans. Arkady sees that he is "western," which in this case means that he is angling for position for his own self-interest. Oleg sees the winds of change that

Philip's reaction was especially fascinating. The previous episode ended with Paige facing a stern, angry father laying down the law. This episode began with the same father saying "yeah, yeah, whatever, spare us the details, just call if you're gonna be late."

By then, perhaps we'll have the appropriate cinematic technology to fully capture the richness and depth of his vision. Yeah, that's the ticket.

It sounds like they need some protection. Vito Corleone?

I've been patiently waiting for Eisenberg to show up on Between Two Ferns, with Galifianakis refusing to believe that he is not Cera.

During the flashbacks to her time as a medical intern, her colleagues referred to her as Sameen.

I manage to get by fine with just Nadsat and Newspeak.

Only if they lobotomize Billy, in which case he would thank Arnold.

Are you serious? Paige Turco (who plays the elderly Zoe) turns 49 this year. Acker isn't even fully developed yet.

This Odd Couple thing only works if Fusco sticks around to fill the Murray the Cop role.

At least he now has a 300-pound, dinosaur-loving Chickasaw named Arnold watching his back, and need not worry so much about being the pretty boy in the wrong environment.

I loved the Machine graphic that preceded each scene in the building on Hudson St. It indicated that it was tracking "Asset Shaw, Sameen," and included an estimate of "number of threats." Each time we returned, the number changed based on her bad-assery.

I don't know. How much did the the Machine "do," and how much control does it really have? It deals in probabilities, and clearly has "values," but it is neither omniscient or omnipotent.

The Vigilance creep tries to sell Shaw on a cause, and gets: "You're just terrorists, and I kill terrorists."

Hey, nice try coco-puffs.
