Oh crap, just re-read this. Misinterpreted what you were talking about. You may have been right about Aja publishing his soundtracks!

Nothing to apologize for, homie. That run is killer too!

Red Rain has to be the next one, right?

Nah, this was way before Aja even came on the scene. I looked it up: it was called Marvel Comics Presents, and it was this great slow burn story. Well worth picking up

Wait, Castlevania's written by Warren Ellis??? That just elevated it from "eh, I might catch it" to "MUST WATCH"

I LOVE this album, but putting it over DAMN is sheer insanity

What do you like about it? Honest question. I haven't seen it for a long time, but I remember it being meandering and slow to get to any kind of a point. But it's also been a while, so what was it that you liked?
Should also add I'm not the biggest Denis Johnson fan, so that might color my review

Inception would have been SO MUCH BETTER if it had not done that silly "dream of a dream" FFX-esque deep dive. I thought it was a pretty extraordinary film anyway, but you DEFINITELY can't think too hard about what's happening onscreen.
Similarly, for Interstellar, it would have been a gazillion times better if it had

Uhhhh, I thought Jesus' Son was pretty wanky as well. Am I alone in this?

I'll have to disagree with you there

FYI: Kylie's the ugly one

Legitimately one of the most annoying bosses I've ever played. I REALLY hope they fix some of the gameplay issues for II, because I'm looking forward to the sequel WAY too much.
Hey Bethesda, fun fact: when you're being pursued by a boss who's SPRAYING ammo everywhere, the last thing ANYBODY wants to do is

There's a REALLY old Daredevil story that showed up in that Marvel anthology series from the 90s whose name escapes me, but it used a few different classic rock songs to accentuate the pieces of the story really well. I really only remember Gimme Shelter being quoted.
If anyone else has an idea what I'm talking about,

Diablo 3 to get more used to the Necromancer mechanics. She plays as a weird compromise between a mage and witch doctor, and as fun as Corpse Explosion is, the aiming seems a bit messy. It's also INCREDIBLY OP since it seemingly doesn't eat any Essence. Enjoy it before it gets nerfed!
Also, I've been dipping in and

The way the skeleton mage works is maddening. Also, do you find that corpse explosion is tough to use effectively? My Necro is ~lvl 17, and I'm finding corpse lance to be a lot more useful, since the aiming seems more slippery on corpse ex.
I'm going for a fairly bone-heavy (huh huh huh) build right now (with an

I can see that. I guess I see its cartoony style of action comedy showing up more overseas, so it's almost inevitable that it'll come over at some point in some cult action movie. Personally I can't wait!

I'd argue it's an action comedy with cartoony elements, and AHoV has done Jackie Chan action comedies before

You forgot Magnolia, where he makes a truly unlikable character not only enjoyable, but captivating.
To this day, I can't believe he didn't win an Oscar for it

I was willing to suspend disbelief all throughout the movie until Colin Farrell tried to make mojitos seem like a tough guy drink

Collateral really is such a great underrated movie. Cruise in his "I'm actually going to be a good actor for a while" phase, glorious cinematography, and a great, grounded plot.
