Also, in the movie, you see that it's basically an archipelago of asteroids with tiny little jet engines. I was way more distracted by thinking about how exactly he did that to listen to his exposition.

Arkham City was most heavily influenced by Batman Returns, and anyone who says otherwise is just completely wrong.

I'm actually surprised they haven't done this yet. This would be so much fun.

I will never understand the impulse by music festivals to book acts known for being quiet. It's impossible to hit the intimacy that someone like Sun Kil Moon needs to make a good show. And I LOVE Benji, but I will never make time to see him at a music fest.
Also, Tune Yards is the objective worst.

My girlfriend and I were completely hooked on that movie until that speech. When he said "BABIES TASTE BEST" in a voice that sounded like he was taking a particularly anguished shit, we both completely lost it. The movie didn't have the same thrill after that.

I thought it WAS really hopeful. It's explained that life on Earth had basically been extinguished due to the cold, but SOME life had survived. And so would humanity.

This is great. Thanks for the guide.

The first Expendables is 100% the gayest movie I've ever seen. It's an hour and a half of guys admiring the size of each others' guns (or knives) and the only remotely possible female love interests are an ex-wife who left Jason Statham and got with the wrong guy, and the young revolutionary who Sly stone cold rejects

I will cum strawberry ice cream if this actually occurs

I am a HUGE fan of slow-paced car chases like the opener in Drive, the extended chase from Way of the Gun, etc. They're make so much more SENSE in real life.

Primus - Winona's Big Brown Beaver

Is this the guy who was supposed to be a Jason Statham impersonator in that one episode of Workaholics?

Titus Andronicus, "In A Small Body"

No comment on how Coipel's art is uncannily (see what I did there?!) like Marc Silvestri's run on the X-men?

Wow, you all have gone way next level here. I always interpreted The Kindly Ones as a convoluted plot that Thessaly herself brought about. She was pissed at Dream for breaking her heart, and basically marshalled all the pieces together necessary to kill Morpheus under the "rules" that the Endless operate.
But she also

Good lord. There is not nearly enough Britta-in-glasses footage in that.

I already told you, baby: Zed's dead.

"James, your breathing is DEAFENING"

Damn. Is it too late to say that I knew Eddie's work before he made this documentary that is going to do great at Sundance (if it hasn't already)? I want to make sure I get my hipster cred in ahead of the pack.
