I can't say enough about this album.  I consider it the best album of the 2000s—just a perfect mix between the guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.  Everybody notices the guitar hooks, but it's fun to see people point out Carlos's intricate bass work (and not just that—there are some seriously funky grooves on this album)…

Really, the only song I don't care for on Antics is "Length of Love", but I can let it slide because it's so goofy.  "C'mere" is one of my favorites (even if it cuts deep).  Also, "A Time to be So Small" is an excellent closer (though it originally was a demo from the TOTBL-era, so I don't know which way people want…

Hooray, we finally get the Menomena review!  I know the day that this came out was super-busy, but I thought we'd get something sooner than 10 weeks later, especially considering the review-friendly backstory behind the album.
