"hacky noodling and uninspired barre chords" is a pretty fucking terrible description of McCready

"Everybody Loves Our Town" has the most info I've seen about the drummer issues in Pearl Jam.  Seems like Krusen had drug problems and Abbruzzese never really meshed personally with the rest of the guys.  Everything else I've seen has just been theories and conjecture, but at least that book had interviews with each

I would say Dinosaur Jr., but I don't think that you can call them "big selling".  Same with Mission of Burma.

Romney fails even the Perd Hapley standard, in that he has no idea what even the "cadence of a joke" is.

Sam's Town is one of the most hilariously awful records I've ever heard.  I remember cringing when I was listening to it, but that was only in moments where I wasn't mocking it completely.  That being said, "When You Were Young" and "Read My Mind" were great singles.

I actually think it's pretty great, but it was more of a tongue-in-cheek thing considering the mentions that this album got in other reviews over the past month.  But yeah, the cover is ridiculous, which is strange considering the effort that the band had put in their album art before.

So now that they finally got around to posting the Swans review, is this where I complain that there's no review for the new Menomena album?
