I don't know.  It was the first episode of the show I ever watched, and it convinced me that it was not just a scare-of-the-week kind of thing.  It still remains my favorite to this day.

I think there's a huge difference between "King of the Beach" and the earlier Wavves albums.  I can barely listen to the early stuff, but KOTB is a fantastic summer album.  I tend to agree with you on Sleigh Bells though.
