I don't think I've seen a nicer collective group than Pearl Jam fans.  Granted, I'm a huge fan, so I may be viewing them through rose-colored glasses, but I don't think I've encountered a friendlier group.

I've stopped expecting anything close to a coherent rationale for the hate.  Apparently, most of them live in a universe where "Jeremy" and "Daughter" are being played constantly, and they never made an album after 1994.
