It's not about the fedora itself or how the guy looks in it. It's more about the weird overlap between OKCupid users who wear fedoras in their profile pictures and OKCupid users who click "yes" on the question of "Is it okay to force a woman to have sex sometimes?"

You know Rick Santorum?

*swipes starboard*

Pretty sure it came from a deep analysis of OKCupid photos (see below). Fedoras are justifiably on many a woman's red flag list, along with mentions of Atlas Shrugged and On The Road.

What are you, a farmer?

I've seen it! It's important that you know this!

Don't remember in Manhunter, but she's certainly more of a figure in the book versions of Silence and Hannibal. Often off-screen, but her situation really informs Jack's character. Agreed.

Goooood point.

Oh, never mind, I see. The ratings for the shows aren't simply averages of the individual episodes. That's interesting.

It actually makes sense to me. If you watch individual episodes, they're great (or they seem great), but the series as a whole doesn't hold together.

Okay, I'm not getting any work done today, am I? I can't stop looking at the IMDB fan favorite episodes of my favorite shows. It's fascinating.

Hmm, people did like the last season of Fringe. I did too, but I thought I was in the minority.
