"Nobody" meaning the entire middle part of the U.S.

Oh God, a Veronica Mars/Twin Peaks crossover would be the best thing ever.

Mine is from New York. It goes: "Two elephants are sitting in a bathtub. One says, 'Pass the soap.' The other says, 'No soap — radio!'"

Is this some regional version of the "two elephants in a tub"/"no soap, radio" joke?

Hannibal? In the commercials, he seems like a classy guy.

iCarly over Adventure Time? *burns down the Producers Guild country club*

I am not a huge country fan, but Jason Isbell is really good. This year I also liked Kacey Musgraves quite a bit.

If a kid were named after Walter Bishop, I might get behind it.

I'm of the opinion that cats should have the most ridiculous names possible (ideally from history or pop culture), but parents who do such a thing to their human children should be whacked very hard on the head.

Yes, all of the above, plus Nick Cave, HAIM, Rhye, The Civil Wars, Forest Swords, and Midlake. Amazing year for music. 2012 did have Kendrick Lamar, Beach House, and Grimes, but that was about it.

Ooh, I recently started listening to these, too! "Chimes of Midnight" was some kind of awesome. Everyone should listen to it, even if you don't listen to any others. It's Doctor Who meets Downton Abbey meets Ionesco. I'm not even exaggerating right now.

Speaking of which, I saw Michael Cerveris (September) in the musical version of Fun Home this weekend. He's a fabulous singer, and I kind of have this weird crush on him. Too bad he never got to sing in Fringe.

Plus Captain Jack is there being his charming self! Come on, guys. Bad Wolf is fun.

Now that I've started listening to the Big Finish audios people recommended in the comments last week, I can confidently say the answer is Marry the 8th.

Whoa, so much Idiot's Lantern hate around here. A season and a half from now, we will have words :)

The feelings here are so warm and fuzzy today that I'm going to join in the spirit and say, William: she jerks off whenever she sees you. She jerks off whenever she sees you.

Oh, and the global conspiracy stuff is mostly going to disappear soon, so don't worry about it too much.

You might as well skip ahead to the good parts and go back to the meh parts later. For season two, all you need to watch are A New Day in the Old Town, Momentum Deferred, August, Grey Matters, and then once you get to Jacksonville (followed by the aforementioned Peter) you can start watching them all.

It's not exactly an older show, but I'll never not like a comment that recommends Fringe. Too many of my friends have wrinkled their noses at my Fringe recommendations recently ("I saw the first episode and didn't like it," say the same people who love Star Trek, the show that always takes three seasons to find its

Wow, now I see why so many people say men are automatically funnier than women. So cutting edge.
