I'm not into downvoting, but since when is "Women aren't funny" an intelligent argument?

I seriously can't understand how people are still saying female comedians aren't funny when Maria Bamford and Amy Poehler are in the world.

You raise a good point: maybe part of the problem is that the "SNL feeder schools" in NYC and Chicago are very white, too. UCB in New York, for example, is EXTREMELY white. I think they have one black woman on their roster right now, and they have something like 300 regular performers.
