You know what's a good movie? Croupier with Clive Owen. I'd say it's only borderline as a QT knockoff (it gets along just fine on it's own terms), but I'd have to think that being a stylish crime story post-QT helped it get the release that it did.

You note Team America as an outlier for being ambivalent or muddled politically, but I think that Matt & Trey are able to achieve some type of truly bipartisan satire more often on South Park.
