I've stayed consistent with WTF but I had this same experience with Sklarbro Country - I love Sklarbro Country but around the time they added the County episodes, I started to feel overwhelmed with the amount of new stuff and dropped out of the habit.  I've been starting to dip my toe back in tho (Johnathan Katz is a

The You Made It Weird episode with Maron as guest gives a good illustration of their relationship (they joke about whether it's a YMIW or a WTF and if they should release it jointly)

Pete Holmes did come to the Cat Ranch to talk with Mark, for the 300th episode.

It's an incredibly moving interview as an outsider but I can imagine it being a whole other level if you were personally acquainted.  He is so emotionally raw and honest that it can be hard to take at times but it's an engaging, illuminating, heart-rending and, ultimately, life-affirming listen.

Good looking out, @avclub-9c3508e704aa16945cf79b05af57848c:disqus !  I've been living abroad recently and missed that this was happening!  KING's hooking it up with online videos, so I'm set.  Hope this sticks around…

As an '80's born Seattlite and comedy nerd, I love Almost Live!.

Some favorite Almost Live! bits:

Almost Live! isn't awful - it's awesome!

Mind Your Manners with Billy Quan!

How about the Sklar Brother's early MTV show Apt. 2F?

That Late Night with Conan O'Brien incubated for The Dana Carvey Show is probably the best explanation for why it's missing from the list.

That's true, but as widely known as Wet Hot is, it doesn't seem to be for being the thing that launched, say, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd or Bradley Cooper.

Dana Carvey Show discussions usually seem to end up at, "Did you know Charlie Kaufman wrote on that?!?"

@avclub-78d66e7514954eb0c2a6a7067a792d66:disqus , you keep filling your shirt with crud until I get back!

I think that show has become pretty infamous for the level of talent involved, so much so that it's gone over the tipping point from lesser-known to moderately-known.

I also love that quick cut while Marge and Ruth are at the real ballet when the ballerina breaks the backboard and the scoreboard air-horn goes off.

I've always loved it that they cut to him inexplicably cradling the phone between his head and shoulders.

"Cheers" to that, @avclub-920530cb8744c679e3a2ece84f1d5ce4:disqus …

Yea, I've seen these discussions go all ways; people who thought it was horseshit shouting down those who liked it, folks who thought it was great dismissing those who didn't's ability to "understand" it, everyone agreeing one way or the other, (occasionally) people just wanting to discuss it and hash it out…I never

Well, I'll open this can of worms…

Oh, look…it's raining again.
