wow, I did not recognize them at all. I thought they were just random prettified citizens.

That giant mech intro scene was incredible. I watched it multiple times. The animation for everything in that scene was beautiful to me. Which contrasts a bit with me thinking the facial animations have been a bit wonky. Especially in regards to Korra.

You know how you know you're poor?

My guess is she was some kinda angel or spirit? They introduced her a long time ago and seems like they had no idea what to do with her or to explain her appearances.

Ahh yes, let me ruin one more innocent person's life before the show is ruined. Shakespeare!

Expanding on your Quinn point a bit. It's not about Fara specifically but I feel she, and the whole embassy job, did remind him of just why he got into this business. His part in that being to stop Americans dying and serve the interests of his country.

Ahh, if it's based in fact that makes me feel better about it. I think they explained it away nicely with people working in the ISI are terrorist sympathizers.

For some reason, I'm remembering part of Carrie's backstory as an ex-soldier. While I was watching that bit I was like did I forget that. I had to look up her character background.

I'm going to miss Fara. I connected with and enjoyed her character ever since her entrance, honestly. I knew it was coming as soon as she let out that sigh of relief.

I was honestly surprised he stayed behind. And I'm 100% glad that they gave him the moment where he showed that he would absolutely not blow up his baby sister.

It was impressive as hell. I think cause it was 100% badass on both sides and it being a martial arts fight and animation, it allowed for the action to flow instead of seeing a billion cuts between each hit. Not something you see in most Western anything, animation or otherwise.

Had to google OAP. Thought it stood for Old Ass People. Not far off.

I don't know, Bolin was quite idealistic. Doe-eyed and bushy-tailed and spent quite a lot of time with her thinking that they were helping. They had to lock up Ghazan in a freezing cage. Makes sense to try to keep Bolin on her side and mostly in the dark.

Sophie made a choice. I assume.

I keep forgetting that it's been 3 years and that's plenty of time for Bolin to have mastered his lavabending. It's just incredibly impressive at this point. I feel it's gonna be a problem for Baatar later on.

I like when Studio 60 was referenced. I was just entering my pretentious stage of my teenage years when that show came out and was mad that I was the only one watching it. I don't miss that part of myself but there's a certain nostalgia there.

I'm just catching up but Jesus that scene made me cringe. And was weird as hell to me. Even moreso when she started banging Brody.

I miss Third Watch. His arc was certainly better there than it was here.

Random fact that hit me when I saw that lead image. The guy on the far left is the twin brother of an alumni of All That back when Snick was hot. He too, is a Snick alumnus, being a cast member of the short-lived but still very loved Taina.

Ha! I don't even know how I missed that.
