I can't really figure out whether Drake is worth really delving into or not. With most artists there's an obvious consensus among various groups of people, and I can generally tell based on the other tastes I share with those people whether or not I'd be interested. But no one can seem to agree on Drake- it's almost

MATT JONES NEEDS WORK

[DING DING]

I remember being rather bothered by Last Battle as a kid, and didn't really get why until years later. For those who haven't read it, it's basically just SHUN THE UNBELIEVERS, BRIMSTONE AND FIRE for 200 pages straight.

Wait, what? Yeezus is neither dead nor Jewish.

You got me. Man, fifth grade sucks ass. I can only get on the AV Club during recess.

I am the one who opens his door and gets shot!

The first movie came out when I was fairly young. I loved it, it had a sense of magic and wonder to it, etc etc etc. The second movie was good, but I remember a sense of faint disappointment about it. The third was not particularly notable in any way.

So you want a preacher character that gives you that Now feeling? Consistently and thoroughly?

This show looked terrible, but the way you've described it here actually makes it sound quite interesting. I may have to give it a shot.

@ObliqueStrategy:disqus Fair enough. I'm not really a fan of how same-y these color schemes tend to make movies, but I liked STID enough that it didn't bother me.

I put up with so much Illuminati bullshit. You know, I didn't make a big fuss when they hid all those secret messages in Jay Z videos or replaced the president with a reptilian. But they've crossed a line this time.

@avclub-87caf7c42aedbada42572e2374eed08d:disqus Guess you don't get to order off the secret menu at Taco Bell.

Vamos a jugar por la playa! Vamos a jugar por la playa!

TV Club ain't no holiday, but it just never turns out that way.

I never thought I'd agree with Chris Conley, but yes, I give exactly no shits about this thing that seems to bother everyone else.

Drake got a better grade than this album.

BB didn't have a traditional finale. Most shows build up to a climax that occurs in the final episode- Breaking Bad's climax came in "Ozymandias." "Felina" was the end of the story, the falling action where it gets resolved. It wasn't supposed to make a grand statement or shock viewers the way "Ozymandias" did- it was

The more I think about it, the more I love the Breaking Bad finale. It really was perfect.

Fuckin' punctuation queens.
