The acronym didn't, but the words that make it up did. I think she didn't realize it's supposed to pull double duty.

My guess is that the writer noticed that Dan's other letters all ended with funny/sex-related acronym sign-offs, and made one up herself, but didn't realize that the acronyms usually make some sort of comment on the nature of the letter-writer or his/her problem.

I think the original Vacation worked because it was able to tap into people's nostalgia for their own family vacations. A lot of the scenes were heightened versions of familiar situations (stopping at lame tourist traps, visiting relatives who live differently than you), rather than escapades just contrived to be as

Apparently it wasn't meant to be a sequel at all, just a completely unrelated movie. When the producers realized American Psycho was a hit (and that they had the rights to it), they shoehorned in a few references to Patrick Bateman and called it a day.

No, now he's on the loose, see? As long as he had that steady job it limited him to only being in like two or three other things a year. With all this free time he's gonna be in MORE things!

Connery all get along?

Wow, is that Javier Bardem in the picture at top? I first thought it was Robert Downey, Jr. and then I was like "well, maybe it's Brad Garrett?"

I'm interested. It's always a bummer how few scary movies there are that even attempt to capture the spooky/fun vibe of Halloween.

On a scale of 1-10, how many human centipedes does this movie feature?

If you think it SOUNDS like the name of an evil psychiatrist, I highly recommend a Google image search for pictures of the actual man. Enjoy.

I like it! I think part of the problem with Tina Fey's movie career is that she's been typecast playing weaker variations on Liz Lemon.

Yeah…your "hand."

What a revoltin' development!

Theory: Craig T. Nelson was the Will Arnett of his time. Discuss.

I was hoping that'd be "Oh Heavenly Dog." My family watched that in a hotel room on vacation once, and that's how I found out my mom thought Omar Sharif was hot.

I've worked with Mark Waid on a couple of projects in the past, and I am just amazed at that guy's talent. He is just bursting with ideas and seems to realize them all effortlessly and completely, rather than at the cost of one another—especially when he gets the chance to work outside the superhero genres. I'm also a

Oh yeah, the spinach is the best! They don't list that on their "official" ingredients, and I once had some jerk "sandwich artist" insist that it was for salads only, but most places allow it on your sub if you ask. Only place I ever saw that didn't offer spinach was a Subway counter at Penn Station in New York.

That sounds like a limited-time offer if ever I heard one.

What do you guys usually get at Subway? When I was young and single, the "Veggie Delite" was an inexpensive way for me to eat fresh vegetables every once in a while. Now that I'm older I like to spring for a 12-inch Roast Beef on Italian Herbs n' Cheese bread, no cheese, Southwest sauce.
