Are you sure you're not thinking of Jed Clampett?

I was also a fan of that one!!!
I loved this show! I always associate it with Johnny Bago, another one-season (or less) adventure/comedy show from around the same time. Do that one next!
Amy Poehler is obviously the Venkman in that lineup.
Nah, he could have said anything there that wasn't "Books." "Google Library," or "Google Text," for example.
Not that racist—Scat Cat in The Aristocats is a caricature of Armstrong, and was supposed to be voiced by him, but he dropped out at the last minute and was replaced by Scatman Crothers. Also I know a lot of Disney trivia for some reason?
Apparently Disney originally wanted Louis Armstrong to voice King Louie, but they backed down once they realized the implications of asking an African-American to play an ape. (They evidently forgot this lesson years later, when they approached Chris Rock to voice the gorilla in "Tarzan.")
I make my living as a freelance illustrator, and I've got one novel completed (it's too shitty to submit to publishers) and I'm currently kicking around a couple of picture book manuscripts.
Not just her ass!
I think Adam Goldberg (with a shaved head, of course) would actually look pretty similar.
Say, he looks pretty good with that mustache. Maybe he oughtta grow one for real?
Is Screwed any good
It Boggles the mind. By the way, do we know when this will hit theaters, or is it gonna be released on some yet-to-be-determined Mystery Date?
The "Fancy" parody is coming later (Al's version is called "Handy").
Also with no Freddy or Velma around, it gave one hope that Shaggy might finally get a chance to bang Daphne.
Police Squad, anybody? Normally I think some running gags are lazy, like the writers are just repeating a joke that got a laugh earlier (Friends' "We were on a break!" is the worst offender to me), but the Police Squad ones get funnier and funnier. My favorite would have to be the narrator announcing the wrong title…
I don't know why I keep reading this feature; it's always aggravating. When they have a stand-up comic tear apart a song it's usually a lot better since they can actually verbalize a specific, funny rant on what makes a song terrible.
They made a movie ABOUT the making of that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…
Man, you ever heard Stan Freberg's version of "Ya Got Trouble?" Makes me wish he'd have done the whole show instead of just recording the one song: https://archive.org/downloa…
I'm just shocked to learn that Drop Dead Diva is a DRAMA.
