I couldn't help hearing that last "Stray Observation" in the actual voice of Robert California as I read it.
Aww man, I remember loving Blacke's Magic! I'd love to see if that still holds up after all these years.
Also, since he worked for her dad, there was always a sense that Keith Mars could keep an eye on him, which made him a better option than Logan or Duncan at least.
I've never been able to decide if I'm more of an "Annie guy" or a "Britta guy," but that clip of Gillian Jacobs shrugging and winking just put me firmly in her camp. What episode is that from?
Steve Martin.
I like the scene in the Steve Martin "Pink Panther" movie where he has that giant parking space in which to parallel park the Smart car, yet he still winds up crashing into the cars in front of and behind him like eleven times each.
"last project that Jim Henson had a direct hand in"
I'd argue that none are more similar than his voices for Grover and Yoda.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN SUCKAZ
I don't think I will be seeing this movie

Shirley is kind of the Lisa or Marge Simpson of the ensemble—she fills a very necessary role to balance out some of the other characters' impulses, but that role just isn't inherently hilarious.
I've got to admit, when I saw that headline, I just assumed they'd offer him the Walter Peck/uptight-bureaucrat/nemesis role. Whether it happens or not, Hodgman as Egon's son definitely sounds more intriguing.
C-Cookie Monster? Is that you?
