So next week the AV Club will start recapping this show from the beginning via DVDs, Netflix, and/or HuluPlus, yes? :D

A man card isn't an actual physical card, per se, but a kind of feeling you carry in your HEART!

Yes: man cards transcend gender.

“I cannot defeat this Klingon. All I can do is kill him, and that no longer holds my interest.”

In all the years since I saw this episode originally air, I have never forgotten this bad-ass line!  Man-card renewal to Worf, obviously, for not quitting.  Man-card renewal to the Jem'Hadar dude for finding a way to

Sign of the Apocalypse #12

Regarding your counterpoint to #1… yes, it IS disturbing how many infractions of the Prime Directive (and the Temporal Prime Directive for that matter) go apparently with little to no punishment.

Don't even get me STARTED on that :D

SO disappointing.  It's so weird how someone can be considered one of the great SNL performers yet have recurring characters that are extremely unfunny.  Should have known this episode was going to be a dud when they showed Gilly AT ALL, let alone in the first 5-10 minutes.

Out of all the faux-sketch shows that we were TOLD were hilarious by Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 characters, Helberg's "The Nic Cage Show" was the ONLY one that was genuinely funny.  If someone swapped it into an actual episode of SNL, I wouldn't have batted an eye.

FOR THE UNIFORM is one of the most Star Trekky episodes of DS9… and I mean that in a bad way.  It oversimplifies what would be a CRAZY complicated process that could absolutely NOT be handled in just one episode, if at all.

SupaNatural was my favorite pilot out of all of them.  A fun mix of VENTURE BROTHERS (fantasy & adventure from a modern, possibly jaded perspective) and METALOCALYPSE (the minor gore & horror elements, plus the look… I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same animation studio).  Honestly… this could easily work as a

Reminds me of READY PLAYER ONE.

Couldn't agree more.  We don't have to imagine a show like this on Adult Swim because it's a poor man's version of 21 & 24 in space.

Actually, both DARK MINIONS and SUPANATURAL seem to borrow different elements from the VENTURE BROTHERS formula… one runs with the "evil henchmen are just like you and me" idea, and the

Delivery not so great, but she's 4 or something.  I know there are other childstars that are probably better, but what're ya gonna do.

Inappropriate thoughts aside, on a mere comedy level I thought that line delivery was hilarious.

Sounds like 30rock used the same writing pool of manatees that Family Guy does (pun intended)

Pretty sure it was.  Only figured out McBrayer as Zeke's cousin when I heard him in the second scene he was in.  As for the dad of the other tablescaping kid, at first I thought they held over Tom Lennon from the Family Fracas episode because of how deep his voice was, but there's no way you can bury Kenneth the

How many VO actors can make a CLOSER reference an "lol" moment?  Non-numeric answer: Schaal! :D

[to Roswulf]

I always just figured that Quark & [SPOILER?] Leeta would pretty much be the brains behind Rom, and together they'd find a balance between Rom's lessened greed and the needs of a modern day Ferenginar
