I provide medical equipment and this gentleman received a letter from our province stating what he qualifies for with his supplemental health. He calls us and we tell him an OT has to order it (which it says in the letter) and he flips out on us about us "telling him about the stuff he can't get" with the letter.

Knowing that being aware of my privilege does not make me a good person can be difficult. I see lots of people who refuse that being white (and male) has given them anything and assume that I am better but that's just being lazy.
